Douglas and Michele are a longtime married couple living pretty hectic lives running 2 high paced businesses, Michele as an OB GYN physician and Doug as the owner of a custom design firm in Tampa, Florida. Our mantra is work hard, play hard. We come to the North Georgia mountains to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting, and want to share our adventures AND the retreat with others! Our cabin in Blue Ridge is dog friendly and named after Michele’s trusty diabetic service dog Bentley, a faithful traveling companion. We especially enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling in our RV , international travel, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, running, birding, nature, pursuing an active healthy lifestyle.

Bentley’s Retreat on Overlook is our cabin recently purchased for both our personal use and to share with others as a short term rental option that is pup friendly. We have thoughtfully equipped the cabin with lots of special touches that embody the way we live our everyday life. Blue Ridge is an adorable quaint mountain town with tons of personality and many options for outdoor recreation, epicurean dining, wineries and breweries, art and culture, and shopping amid pristine lakes and mountains and orchards! And best of all, the trails are dog friendly so you can bring your best furry friend along!
